Beloved in the Lord:

I am sharing excerpts from one side of a conversation that we all need reminding of. Feel free to comment or add to what is said. My hearts desire is to see us all grow up into the fullness of the stature of the Lord Jesus Christ.

One never gets rid of a bad habit without replacing it with a good one.

Renewing your mind with WHO you are in CHRIST will change your need of the thing. Need is based on a lack. Try some good teaching from the links on my website. It is amazing what the anointed word will do to change a life! Mostly start forgiving yourself now cause God already has, forever, and if you're judging yourself outside His blood you are establishing your own law/goodness! Thus sin is empowered by that law you made for yourself.

As a man thinks so is he the bible says! :o)

The problem is one of knowing who you are in Christ! It is in our thinking. I too have battled this and found the more I wanted to stop the more I wanted it. However the one thing that led me safely out of lust was the learning of my real identity in Christ. Who I really am does not need those things. I got a peace from God as I accepted His finished work in me!

I will pray and agree with you that God will make a way!!!

You may not know the answer and in fact the insecurity is what really is at the root of your problems. But God does have an answer and a faith that grows in you till you see yourself as HE SEES YOU - SINNLESS AND HOLY!! Then these trivial things will not be able to ensnare you for they will not be able to give you anything! They only feed Adam's life but YOU ARE IN CHRIST!!! Religion is sin conscious so it produces sin but we are seeing Him as He is and transformed to His image! :o)

Trust Him to take care of you! Trust Him to do it all for we are not self made men! We are created! Molded and fashioned by His love!

I am sending you some of these things I am writing you in an email to remind you to look upward! Stop feeling guilty for it produces nothing good. Your good intentions never made you holy. Only Jesus made you holy and nothing can take that away. That's how one lives OUT of holiness! Not toward holiness! We are who God says we are. Read Colossians! One with Him already!!! That will put to death the deeds of the old/dead man and cause you to show forth His power in your life! PTL!!!

Jesus is the only door/way out of your Adamic/childish problem. We all go through it! Take a bite of His flesh/word. Drink His life/blood/Spirit. Believe He really has finished what He said was finished from the cross!

I KNOW HE is the only answer you need and I KNOW that this answer works! Get your mind off your problem and start seeking Him! He has already forgiven and provided! It's a past event that makes your future secure! A GOD PROMISE THAT IS UNCHANGABLE! WE ARE HIS BODY, HIS LIFE AND HIS OWN!!! Nothing can separate us from Him! Sin was dealt with on the cross. period. :o)

God's word is alive and active and able to separate you from your Adamic thinking and set you free into the mind of Christ! The NOW OF GOD!!!

I may use these notes as a teaching tool! (No names of course!) See how much good comes out when we share! PTL!!! I am a fool for Christ cause I've let Adams mind go! He only thinks of flesh and death but there is no sin/death in God! PTL!!!

My mind is set on things above. Seated with Him now. Our real identity is one of contentment in His finished work! The Kingdom of God is righteousness, peace and joy!!! PTL!!
